Your account

To create a Free2move account, you must be an individual, 18 years old and a valid email address. The account is created on the site. Depending on the type of rental desired, age and permit conditions may then vary. During the booking process, you enter your contact details, email address and password and confirm the terms and conditions, remember the email address used and the password chosen, they will give you access to your Free2move account and allow you to manage it at any time.

If you have already registered on a Free2move site, you can use your username (Email, password) to make a reservation for a Free2move vehicle.

In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, the User has the right to access, rectify and delete personal data concerning him/her. This right can be exercised by contacting customer service.

Your email address is used to identify you. In case of a change of email address, contact customer service.

The reservation

The Free2Move account holder must be the signatory of the rental agreement. If he meets the age and licence conditions required by the type of rental chosen, he can drive the vehicle. A person can be added to the rental contract by contacting customer service or directly at the agency.

The one-day rental includes 24 consecutive hours and can start at any time of the day, within the agency's opening hours. You agree on rental schedules when you book online, the maximum rental period is 28 days and only one vehicle can be rented at a time.

The list of authorised countries can be consulted in the General Conditions of Rental available when selecting a vehicle.

For any modification or cancellation of your reservation, please contact your agency directly. No changes or cancellations can be made online.

During the rental period

You must bring your valid driver's license, an identity card, your bank card, on which a pre-authorization will have been automatically made, at most 72 hours before the beginning of your rental. For the rental of cars or commercial vehicles, a proof of residence of less than 2 months is required.

The vehicle receives 24/7 assistance from Free2Move Assistance. In the event of an accident, breakdown or theft, call the assistance number indicated on your rental contract, in the event that the vehicle is immobilised, Free2Move assistance can organise the continuation of your journey or your return home, in the event of an accident, Free2Move insurance covers any personal injury or material damage that may have occurred during the rental period. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of departure, the return must be made on the date and time stipulated in the contract during the opening hours of the rental site.

A vehicle must necessarily be returned to the departing agency.

If the rental period is exceeded, you must contact your rental agency to inform them as soon as possible. Upon your return, your agency will invoice you for the cost of the extra days and any excess kilometres.

In the event of a reservation made on the Free2Move website, a pre-authorization is automatically made, at most 72 hours before the start of the rental period, on the credit card used for payment.
